Looks like Yahoo has jumped in immediately to compete with the new search Cuil. It’s interesting how much buzz is there but apparently, the search has been taken down for unknown reasons. I hope it comes back. I always like Yahoo search results even if I do more to get Google’s attention on my blogs and websites.
Cuil for the record, is well,,, not so cool. I’ve got some high ranking for certain keywords but what I’ve found is that the images they use are not actually associated with the results they sit next to. For example, I’ve got high ranking urls which have a pic I’ve never seen next to the result. Contrarily, I’ve seen my photos, un credited, next to results for which I have no ranking. Now that’s lame. Get it together Cuil.
